Please pray for little Charlotte. This week has been a whirlwind for our family; Charlotte had three seizure-like episodes within 72 hours and was admitted to the hospital for treatment and testing. The neurologists confirmed Charlotte was having actual seizures, and doctors prescribed a daily medication to prevent future episodes. Several tests were conducted; her MRI images results showed her brain is shrinking and dying when compared to her MRI images last year. The neurologists believe that this issue is why Charlotte is beginning to experience seizures. Despite these findings, we are amazed at what she is still able to do–especially with her cognitive and communication skills.

We are so thankful for how long God has prevented her seizures, and we know everything happens for a reason because He makes no mistakes. David and I are at peace with the circumstances and trust that God will heal her one day. We take joy knowing and believing she will one day have a perfected heavenly body, but we continue in fervent prayer for God’s will in healing Charlotte and Sophie here on earth for His glory. God is sustaining our little family in His strength, and the Holy Spirit has bestowed upon us such comfort like none else can offer. We are thankful for a Heavenly Father to lean on during this time and cast our care upon Him because He cares for us like no other. With God before us, there is nothing to fear around us. He gives us our daily strength to continue and is our refuge in the midst of earthly storms. He pulls us up out of the horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and sets our feet on a rock. He is our strong tower in which we can hide. He is our portion in the day of trouble and our hope because He is always only good.
